Beautiful gardens. A lighter footprint.

Sea Glass Zero was born from a simple belief: we should leave the planet better than we found it.

For me, it's personal.

I have four children, and I want to create something that has a purpose beyond simply designing and building beautiful gardens. I want to create a legacy that makes a positive difference to the world around us.

I try to swim in the sea every day, often early enough to watch the sunrise. Spending that time in nature keeps me connected to what matters and reminds me just how extraordinary the natural world is — and how much we have to protect.

Why sea glass?

I collect sea glass from the beaches around me.

There is something about it that I love. Something that was once discarded is taken by the sea and, over decades, slowly transformed. Tumbled, softened and polished until it becomes something beautiful.

Every piece is different.

Nothing wasted. Nothing forced. Just nature doing what nature does.

I love turning the sea glass I find into something new - giving something that was once discarded another life.

That became the inspiration for Sea Glass Zero.

We believe gardens should be created in much the same spirit: working with nature rather than against it.

Thinking carefully about what is already there. Using resources thoughtfully. Creating places where people and nature can thrive. Designing beautiful landscapes without losing sight of the wider environment.

For us, this isn’t about making gardens look sustainable.

It’s about thinking differently from the very beginning.

And that’s what Sea Glass Zero is about.

Beautiful gardens. A lighter footprint.
